The Details
Home Grown
A natural by-product of olive harvest. Many leaves flutter down from the branches into the nets spread on the ground below as olives are gathered from the trees. They’re separated from the olives, rinsed and dried, and prepared for a healthy brew.
The Taste
Olive leaf tea is reminiscent of green tea without the bitterness. It has a delicate leafy flavour and can be combined with other loose teas, enjoyed on its own or enlivened with a slice of orange or lemon.
The Benefits
Drinking olive leaf tea may help lower blood pressure, stimulate the immune system, help fight infections, ease arthritic pain, lower glucose levels, reduce cholesterol and strengthen the cardiovascular system.
